Pride
Once, there was a species of creatures known as soulcatchers. These crystalline statues absorbed the souls of the dead and gained that soul’s memories, physical form and experiences. Once they gained as many souls as they could gather, they fractured themselves, giving new life to a new set of statues. However, one day, they found a statue so massive it towered over the trees and forest. They worshiped it as a god, and attempted to give the statue life. Rather than simply fracturing the souls, they gave everything they had to the statue. No matter what, the statue never came to life. Eventually, their current leader made a decision. Everyone surrounded the statue, and sacrificed themselves. And with that final sacrifice, the statue, the pride of the soulcatchers, finally awoke. And yet, with the memories of thousands of lifetimes, they couldn’t handle existing. Their mind fractured, and while most memories remained, the history of the soulcatchers and what Pride truly was all disappeared.

Angel Dove
Species that live in frozen environments.
Their crown mimics a native tree leaf.
They sit under the trees to lure and eat their prey.

Roach
Roach comes from a world of people with superpowers.
Unfortunately, Roach’s power is vomiting dirt.
Eventually, he meets a dirt controller, and they become a superpower duo.
